Video games and popular music weren't challenging enough. Lieberman is now taking on the internet. MyDD has some insightful commentary:
Videos from the Iraq war are finding their way onto Youtube, yet rather than see the violence as a problem, Lieberman wants to shoot the messenger. This isn't the first time he's blamed the internet for problems in Iraq. In his Op-Ed on Abu Ghraib, he suggests that 'internet culture' is possibly to blame for these war crimes.
Bush + Partisanship= "Bush-partisanism":
"What he doesn't realize is that bipartisanship isn't an end to itself — it's only valuable as a means to solve the real problems of ordinary Americans" — such as lack of health care, said Lamont. Lamont attacked Lieberman for six pages of his speech, then gave about four pages of constructive reform, Including a ban on lobbyist's gifts and creating "affordable" health care.
An end to British troops in Iraq? What could this mean for the US?

And a Democratic landslide?

I miss anything?

A new poll is showing Chris Murphy trailing Nancy Johnson 52%-46%. This poll was taken after the Foley scandal broke.

You don't need "cable pullers"to wire a school when it's done being wired. Those are the people Lamont Laid off.

All the constuction workers got laid off when the construction was done on EVERY project I ever worked on too. This Layoff story is a total lie.

Joe Liebermans paycheck has been a Government check his entire adult life.He has NEVER created even one job his entire life.Dispite that he has accumulated Millions of dollars in personal wealth.

If someone needs to explain how he became a millionaire its Joe Lieberman NOT Ned Lamont.

I'm glad to see Ned Lamont is now attacking the New York Times. It is bound to work as well as trying to claim Lieberman was against civil rights

His wife, Haddasah, is a "senior counselor" with Hill & Knowlton, a PR company that is owned by WPP. It's likely she earns about $200,000 per year, so there's the answer to your question, unless you are upset that his wife works.
Lieberman's current salary is $165,200. The two showed a combined income of $366,084. On that combined salary, you can become a millionaire in a few years if you are fairly frugal, or you get all kinds of fringes. I'm sure Joe also gets reimbursed for travel to and from DC, as well as certain meals, etc. This of course won't count as income, because it is a reimbursement.

Their financial assets range between $465 and $1.9 million, and they also have two homes (one in CT, one in DC). I don't know when he bought these houses, but I'd imagine that they've appreciated nicely during the past few years.

How is it that NOBODY has brought up LG candidate Glassman and how she had one set of views with one Gubernatorial running mate and ANOTHER set all of a sudden (now) with another? Not that they were entirely different but someone should sort out what is what.

Lame is lame Mary, if you were half of a woman you would've NOT accepted the Dem nomination the day after the primary. Stand by your man Danny-Boy, no? Anything for self... Thoughts?

Do any of you know whatever happened to Joe Lieberman? We haven't seen him in months. We have no Democrats to tell us how great the war in Iraq is going. When will Our Joe come back to us?

Cliff Thornton(G) for Governor
Nancy Burton(G) for Attorney General
Mike DeRosa(G) for Secretary of State
David Bue(G) for State Treasurer
Ned Lamont(D) for Senator
Joe Courtney(D) for Congress

Vote Democratic for US House and Senate to end the abomination that has been this Congress, and vote Green Party for State Offices to get the most ethical and pragmatic policy decisions for Connecticut (it beats rubber stamping Democrats in these state elections who are all either ahead or behind by insurmountable margins - what's the point?)

Where is she on tobacco, do you know?

The incumbant and Farr are both anti-smoking nazi's so I was considering giving her my vote.

If she's just as bad I'll just skip the AG's ballot altogether.

I love the way Republicans attack Ned Lamont on this Blog .

The Democrats the True Democrats will talk about the issues and the fact that Lieberman lacks substance when it comes to facing the issues .

Right Wing Lieberman supporters on this Blog never want to face the issues just create more lies .

If you are truly Anti War you will vote for Ned Lamont if you truly want National Healthcare for all Amrericans and people in Connecticut you will vote for ned Lamont,If you want somebody who will stand up the the Washington Insiders you will vote for Ned Lamont, if you want someon who will stand up for Civil Rights you want ned Lamont.

If you attack Ned and support Lieberman but you agree with my above comments then your a hipyocrite.

Now Bush and Company will have us in Iraq until 2010.

Lieberman has not said or set a timeline to get out of Iraq .

If you are opposed to the War in Iraq then you need to vote for Lamont.

Since we already have spend over a 1/2 trillion dollars and lost 1,000's of US Troops its time to redeploy the troops and let Iraq fix there own problems and instead we can help rebuild a country that Bush as made a mess .

Good race in the 5th, but Murphy will lose in the Republican performing district. It will be interesting to see how he does in his state senate district.

I think the problem some democrats have with Ned Lamont is not knowing where he stands on the issues. I really expected he would roll out a more substansive platform after the primary. His lack of political experience make him a wild card, not really knowing how he'll vote. I do give him credit for sticking with his message, I'm just don't think it's enough for all the democrats to vote on.

Now the race in the 5th district is the opposite. The incumbant, Nancy Johnson, hasn't shared much of a platform, and her record is what will hurt her. Her opponent, Chris Murphy, is an up-and-coming legislator to watch. I happen to live in the 5th and hear many say Nancy's voting record benefits the administtration more than the voters. It shows Murphy's message is out there and folks can easily check her voting record and decide for themselves.

The Murphy/Johnsom debate should be interesting with Murphy coming out on top.

I can't believe nobody is talking about the abhorrent things Chris Shays said about Abu Ghirab. I'm a Shays fan and a Dem - and this has me completely disgusted.

Murphy is not up and coming, he is going to be DOWN and OUT. I mean the guy is going to lose Wolcott and Waterbury, two towns that got to know him. I know he is the love of the liberals, but to know him is NOT to love him.
