DeStefano also took cash from PACs and special interest folk. All of Jodis came from individual contributors. I think that says a lot. I'd love for someone to compare the amounts each received from individual contributors dollar for dollar. Same for what the LG's received/contributed.
And how much of Glassman's cash was received BEFORE the day of the primary ? Money that was donated to her when folks thought Malloy would be the Dem's candidate?
Does that cash factor in at this point? Or was that cash that goes to pay Malloy's $250K debt? Anyone who knows please chime in.
It's sad that Ned Lamont can whip out his checkbook and raise as much money in 10 seconds as both these candidates raised in 90 days
I think my great grandfather might have carried luggage for J.P. Morgan. Being his business partner was obviously far more lucrative for the Lamont dynasty
OK, who in the world developed that CFIS reporting system at the Secretary of State website? That has to be one of the more cumbersome interfaces to anything. Was it developed in the 80s? Who approved this system?
Anonymous 12:22 am - What are you, Triple H or a broken down Atari? I've heard that phrase anonymously posted a dozen times in the week I've been on this blog; the logical reaction of anyone reading that is to say now if that were true, you wouldn't have to keep saying it, would you? I'm not voting for DeStefano, I don't think it looks like he can win right now, and barring an unexpected jump in his numbers, I strongly encourage progressives who realize he can't win on election day to vote for Cliff Thornton instead.
However, you guys constantly having to repeat the phrase "game over" like a machine sounds desperate after a while, and makes right-wingers seem worried about DeStefano when there is (thus far) no legitimate reason to be. "Game over" only works when you say it the first time, it kind of loses meaning when you say it the next hundred times about the same game.
Rell also has prepaid $500K in advertising, DeStefano has not. She is ahead in fundraising folks by a 3 to 1 margin. He's turned out to be a pretty week campaigner, just like Courtney. At least Ned has some clever advertising.
