New Lamont Ad

How similar is Lamont's 2006 campaign to Lieberman's 1988 campaign?

How about Lamont's ad that was filmed at Primary Victory party that is taken at an angle that purposely excludes Jackson and Sharpton!!!

Amazing, they were standing right behind him yet they were no where to be seen in the commercial. Seems a bit racist to me.

Whether you agree or disagree with Ned, plan on voting for him or someone else, this is a great ad.

Why does Joe Lieberman hate every race except his own.

Liebermans using the "southern Strategy" in Ct.

If there's a God Joe will get his ass kicked.

Great ad -- and a reminder that Joe Lieberman brought negative campaigning to CT in 1988.

When he sanctimoniously calls Lamont negative I want to be sick.

I'm Ned Lamont and I approved this message, so long as Jesse and Al are cut out.

LOL

Can we stop with the race-baiting, please? Jesse and Al have little to do with CT politics, and they never would have appeared here except for the smear campaign Lieberman was running against Lamont in CT's cities.

If we continue down this path, the next thing you know the anti-Semites will start to chime in.

I saw the post about Lamont, and figured I'd look at the comments to see what inanity Turfgrl had to contribute to the conversation. "She" did not disappoint.

So you see, we should all support Lieberman, because eighteen years ago, he made some campaign promises. He didn't keep them, but he made them. As for Lamont, Turfgrl didn't have the energy or the honesty to find out any of Lamont's positions, so Turfgrl doesn't like him.

That's Turfgrl's position, as near as I can follow.

Sometimes you wonder if democracy is all it's cracked up to be.

Lieberman has articulated his positions perfectly; he's for torture and the war.

"Jim," most voters can't be bothered to research candidate positions. All Lamont does on TV is say it's time for a change, time to hold Bush accountable, Joe Lieberman sucks.

The only slightly informative ad he's run is the one with the unintelligible kids yelling at him, which is a terrible ad anyways.

too bad game over - this blue state have had enough - we want good schools good jobs and a healthy economy --- we cant have that and Ned..... game over -

Joe's going to win big and destefano is losing big.

Its time for the real democrats to take back the democratic party or there will only be Rs and I's and a minority D party. Other than Joe Amann is the best hope the only leader out of the remaining whole crew...

"Architect"

Lamont supports the right of habeus corpus. Joe Lieberman does not.
Anyone who needs to know more than that about this race, really should not be allowed to vote. That is just the latest of Lieberman's contemptible of Lieberman's positions, and one that, I have to say, shocked even me. And I didn't think I could despise Lieberman more than I did when he accused John Kerry of "playing politics with Iraq" when Kerry called for Rumsfeld's resignation after Abu Grahib.
The fact that Lamont is forced to dumb things down to an ever-receding lowest common denominator is not his fault.

Anonymous the one that is being all negative about this new ad.

How about saying something positive about Ned for once .

The fact is the ad is great and Lieberman will lose even more votes when people see this.
