  • Joe Lieberman is making Democrats nervous.
  • Connecticut is GIVING AWAY $20 MILLION...for stem cell research.
  • Joe and the Muddled Middle, Howard Dean keeps his job at the DNC, thankfully.
  • Could Dick Cheney be next?
  • One fantastic anecdote, via TPM:
At a private reception held at the White House with newly elected lawmakers shortly after the election, Bush asked Webb how his son, a Marine lance corporal serving in Iraq, was doing.
Webb responded that he really wanted to see his son brought back home, said a person who heard about the exchange from Webb.

“I didn’t ask you that, I asked how he’s doing,” Bush retorted, according to the source.

Webb confessed that he was so angered by this that he was tempted to slug the commander-in-chief, reported the source, but of course didn’t. It’s safe to say, however, that Bush and Webb won’t be taking any overseas trips together anytime soon.
  • Did Gov. Rell and Romney "cut and run" from their state parties?

"Did Gov. Rell and Romney "cut and run" from their state parties?' Yep. Romney is running for President. He tried to buy some support for his future. Rell is, well, out of touch? Not a leader? Probably both. She is not a campaigner. Didn't really have to campaign as a state rep. coming from a solid GOP town like Brookfield, and didn't campaign while Rowland was Gov.

Personally.. .I would like to see Webb slug Bush. I think people would PAY to see that.

Heck, I'd like to see Nancy Pelosi tell him he needs a 'time out'.... for the next two years.

Lieberman will make the entire senate 'nervous' before he's through.

Ya know, I never thought that Nutmeggers were stupid -- until they elected Joe again. What's going on?

What an utter waste of taxpayer funds, I swear I'm going to move from this useless state.

"What an utter waste of taxpayer funds, I swear I'm going to move from this useless state." I'm guessing you don't know anyone with MS, diabetes, leukemia..

you're lucky. I guess you only know healthy people. Either that or you care more about the never to be born than the already born and afflicted.
