Seems the 170 margin does not include all the absentee ballots, particularly from strong Simmons communities.That aside, it has fallen under the mandatory recount according to the Courant so we are look at at least a week for a winner.
This is going to be ugly, very ugly, but Courtney's going to come out on top. This district will be Democrat now for a long, long time. Btw, how do you have 100% of precints reporting, and not have the asbentee ballots counted.
I have to assume there are a bunch of military ballots as well. I think Simmons holds on.
Courtney is holding a news conference now - presumably to announce victory.
