Thanks, Bobby. That's adding so very much to the debate. Appreciate all the insight. Glad to know unreasoning hatred is guiding your political thought process. We've moved so far forward from the 1930s.
There is a mid-term election tomorrow of historic proportion for CT and we can't come up with anything better than "George Bush is a drug addict?" I call 'em like I see 'em. Besides, how else can you explain his foreign policy and delusional behavior?
> When will the therapist and the medication be delivered to the Whitehouse?
I'm surprised Republicans missed the opportunity to fire back with the obvious Lincoln Chaffee joke here. What a missed easy opportunity to win the argument; it's not like you guys are going to win by defending Bush.
I disagree, the big ideaology this time is clearly "anti-Iraq war". This has become the cohesive theme among ALL Democratic campaigns in the last couple months.
Had Lamont's primary win not given them the brass to do so, the Democrats would indeed only have "anti-Bush" to run on this cycle, and although they still probably would have gotten fifteen seats and eeked out a House victory this year, they would NOT be in striking distance of picking up an extra 20 - 40 House Seats and control of the Senate.

you and somewhere between 60-68% of the US population. And probably the rest of the world.
It's not his fault. He's a drug addict. He'll check into rehab when this is all over and say he was molested by a priest.
isnt that what Shrub-publicans do in times of crisis?
tsk, tsk.
Therapy and medication can help.
If Threapy and medication could truly help when will the therapist and the medication be delivered to the Whitehouse?
Are you a terrorist?

So if the big ideology this time is "we're not George Bush", what are the Democrats going to run on in the future?

Doesn't it kill you that he is one of only 12 Presidents in history to be elected to two terms!
"we can't come up with anything better than 'George Bush is a drug addict?'"
I can: George Bush is an idiot.
Nice even handed blog here- A truthfull reply is twice denied being posted but people are allowed to slam Bush with impunity.
