Gabe, who was on a brief leave of absence, will be returning to the site's front page starting very, very soon. Bobby McGee, who did an excellent job as Gabe's stand-in, will be staying on board as the person in charge of creating interesing open forums (which I almost never remember to do). We welcome him back!
Following the recount, I'll be taking a couple of days off from blogging to recharge--but I know the other bloggers will do such a capable job of posting that you won't even notice.
