I am no "left wing fanatic" but what Joe is doing is ridiculous and if he loses that should be it. And, it is one thing to run as an independent but now he has his own party? So let's see Joe was going to be an independent Democrat so now he must be running as a...Lieberman Democrat. I guess that's fitting - a party of one that is.

Our sons and daughters: 2550+ reasons to vote for Ned Lamont. More "new" reasons every day.

Griswold Dem: You think that Lieberman is on a sinking ship...Are you not the same "DEM" that recently was saying how much you like Jodi Rell and how you would like to support her?

Thats an interesting way of showing party loyalty.

I hear that Lieberman is using the same research firm that Verizon Wireless uses, except that instead of asking, "Can you hear me now?" they have Joe asking, "Are you sick of me yet?"

Disgruntled: There is a reason why we choose to align ourselves with a party. I will vote for an Independent but never a Republican. Without going into a long diatribe, Republicans are against everything I believe in.

Oedipus Lieberman!

I think I'm going to stab my eyes out.

I usually vote a straight Republican ticket, but not all the time. In fact, in 1995, I lived in Stamford and voted for Dan Malloy for mayor. I didn't really have an idea who he was, but the Republican that year, can't remember who but I think it may have been Esposito, was not that great from what I remember. Dan Malloy won't be getting my vote this year even if he beats JDS.

Hopewellian_Magi,

"When Howard Dean ran for President, he called his campaign Dean for America, not the other way around. Lieberman's Party name is the fruit of his vanity."

I hear President Dean's re-election team has re-hired Joe Trippi to run the show.

Seriously, let's not get out of control over the semantics here. Nobody who hasn't made their mind up cares or will care.

From the Stamford Advocate:

"Responding to criticism over his wealth, Democratic Senate candidate Ned Lamont sunk another $500,000 of his own fortune into his campaign yesterday and agreed to publicly release his tax information." The 2005 returns won't be available until filed (extension), but the campaign expects them to be released before the primary.

Now, Ned could show us his 2004 returns right now. The surprise will be that Annie has been the breadwinner-

TG:

They will work for Murphy/Shays/farrel (at least most will).

Joe wont need any help, so it doesnt really matter. If it were going to be a tight race, I think almost all ned supporters would vote for joe in the general.

Not many; if indeed that were the case Weicker wouldn't have lost his senate seat in 1988.

In 2008 if the Dems are bright enough to run Mark Warner and the GOP dumb enough to run either Giuliani or McCain the outcome would surprise you.

The nat'l. debt as a percentage of the GDP is lower right now than in 17 of the past 25 years. (According to NPR, a source you'll probably accept.)

More home ownership than ever before.

More minority home ownership than ever as well.

Unemployment is around 4.5% which is about as low as it can get.

So, uh...whadda you talking about?

All the Lamont People can go work for the Green Party since they are on the same wave length.

If you think health care's expensive now...just wait till it's "free".

Then it'll cost all of us a fortune and be unavailable too!

Perfect!

I am with Joe Lieberman until the end.I would never vote for Ned Lamont Because he is pushing a very bad issue and it is the only reason he is running for US Senator is the Iraq War.

Also Mr Lamont's supporters are liberal, left wing morons who will put the final nail in The Democratic Party's coffin here in Connecticut.

The DFA is a sham it is a front and most of its followers are wingnuts and crazy people I have a name for DFA and unfortunately I cant put it on here But I am sure you can figure it out.

The Lamont supporters are rowdy and they have no clue what America is all about. If they would have a decent conversation about the issues and not shout down anyone who supports Lieberman or Schlesinger Then it would be an interesting blog But these people have no life but to put others down.

It is all this negative and assanine behavior by The people who support Ned Lamont and is the reason I would never support him If a miracle happens and he were to win. I think that's not happening.

So you Lamont Left Wingers enjoy it while it lasts Because on August 8th Joe Lieberman will win and it will be a Great Day for The State of Connecticut.

Where are you Lamont Groupies Now???

Answer-Getting ready to help The Green Party or Help Schlesinger win the Senate Seat or vote for one of the other candidates for US Senate.

August 8th we can say good bye to The Lamont Campaign As Undertaker from WWE would say "Rest IN Peace"
