Enfield: Four Days to Go
Today I took a spin around town to take a look at what's happening, politically. Here are a few pictures of the scene in Enfield on Friday, November 3rd, 2006:
First up, the Lamont campaign bus stopped at the senior center today at around noon.
It looks like a nice bus, but I can't help comparing it to Joe Lieberman's "Tomorrow Tour" at the tail end of the primary.

Here's a van with a picture of the Kiss Float heads on the side.

Lawn signs.

A somewhat common sentiment around here, although this one is left over from 2004.

More lawn signs, in the 58th District.

Signs in the 59th... note the evidence of a governor's race. Very rare.

Hey, a Schlesinger sign!

Republican HQ, which is very close to my house.
And that's what it looks like to be in the political center of the universe today.

Simmons is Enfield today too...all day...visiting businesses, stoping by different functions. Battle ground America at it's finest!
Congressman Simmons just finished a "meet and greet" at Retail Brand Alliance / Brooks Brothers here in Enfield and now is on his way to Mead-Westvaco. He received a great response and is very upbeat heading in to the final days!
(With a musical theme)
Scott...Scott Kaupin
Yes, I do visit from time to time to read what others are thinking. I need to come up with some catchy identity name though.
