No Tie For Second...

Joe Packs it in!!! Congratulates Lamont...

And announces independent bid...

Talks about how saddened he was by the partisanship of the primary... Partisanship? It was a party primary. Or so we thought.

Makes remark about the (alleged) hacking. Still with little to no evidence.

He apparently just asked out of staters for campaign contributions... Odd.

Joe conceded....and just announced he is running as an Independent run...."we just finished the first half & the lamont team is ahead" but (paraphrasing) our team will win the 2nd half.

And continues to challenge Lamont's lack of solutions...and Lamont's polarization tactics.

"In Washington these days, every compromise is considering a surrender." Well said.

Gabe, I think he said "partisan polarization"

Right back at you, DR.

Yes, but, I think, he was talking about the primary... I could be wrong, but thats how I heard it.

LIEBERMAN CLAIMED HIS WEBSITE WAS HACKED!

The True Gentleman said...

It confused me too. He just commented that his independent campaign website will be up when it is "unhacked"

The True Gentleman said...

Attorney General Blumenthal also believes it may have been hacked.

The True Gentleman said...

The AG has launched an official investigation = there must be some signs of impropriety into the alleged hacking issue.

Joe said that people from around the country should go to his website to give him their opinions.

Joe must not spend much time reading blogs, because as soon as that's up, it's going to be spammed to hell with lots of idiotic comments.

It's not going to be coördinated, of course, by the Lamont campaign or anyone else, but it's sort of a bizarre thing to ask for. I mean, on this web site, comments usually have to be approved. Can you imagine what his is going to be like?

Glad I don't have that job of reading the comments. well, until they can get their site "unhacked", it'll be an easy job.

That would be messed up if it was hacked. And he didn't claim it was the Lamont campaign (although his own campaign has done enough of that the past 36 hours through the MSM)

I didn't know we were playing CalvinBall. What is this first half crap? We play as many halves as it takes Joe to win? I gotta say, you know I think the republicans were right after florida in 2006 (you have no idea how much it pains me to say that)

Loserman!

Lets beat him again!

Can I officially start calling Lamont a "no solution" candidate now that the primary is over and us Republicans can start speaking again?

The True Gentleman said...

Did Lamont just actually say that "...America voted this evening" or did I hear that wrong?

after what the Dem did with Lautenburg in NJ and Gregoire in WA State they are in no position to complain about extending the game until the correct result is obtained

disgruntled_republican said...

I second that TG....time for REPUBLICANS to stand up and show liberals this is OUR state too...

Lamont has a solution "to put the common interest ahead of the special interests."

He also wants to give the Iranians reasons why they shouldn't build the atom bomb. Once they understand these reasons, they won't build the bomb. He's going to work to get the international community to also provide Iran these reasons.

And he wants to take the military option off the table, and Lieberman wants to leave it on.

For those of you that like to call this website Connecticut Liberal Politics, you will soon be noticing a much stronger Republican message. Ned Lamont, for one, is not representative of the State's complete electorate. I think he and his supporters need to remember that.

disgruntled_republican said...

And yes, that is what Ned said...

The True Gentleman said...

GMR, my comment has nothing to do with SENATOR Lieberman. It has to do with Mr. Lamont's lack of details to anything and everything he says.

Ned Lamont looked absolutely petrified at the podium just now... His politics, his rhetoric, his process, and his vision for this country and the world terrify me to no end.

The True Gentleman said...

Anon 11:37, you just made me laugh really hard.

Okay, I just wrote the last piece on Lieberman. Much more to say, plus pictures, tomorrow.

Governor's race going to overtime.

disgruntled_republican said...

TV says it looks like Malloy is going to acknowledge that it looks like JDS has more votes...what ever the hell that is good for, who knows.

the Tre gentleman its time for you and your coservative no solution republicans who got us into war with Iraq with the likes of your friend Joe Lieberman to realize that Connecticut has more progressive minded folks then conservatives like yourself and the time for change is now.
Get rid of Bush and all the people in Congress and the Senate who have supported the war in Iraq.

the only solutions the true gentleman and your like have is creating more problems around the world.

There is one main solution elect progressives in all 50 states to go to Washington to solve the problems created by Conservative Dems and Republicans. Thats the solution.

justavoter, that's interesting that you assume to know my positions on the issues...and did you forget, but your "progressive" movement jsut voted out a progressive member of the Senate? If your going to question where I stand on the issues and who I support, you should at least first find out what my positions are, who it is I actually support, and then come up with something intelligent to say...but I guess that's not your style to think before you speak.

Ned Lamont......Still wrong for Connecticut....Still wrong for The US Senate.....Look behind you Liberals Because Joe Lieberman comes back and wins The election and everyone can go back to saying NED WHO???after the November Election.

Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and George Soros arent exactly the Pillars of The Democratic Party more like Pirates kissing the liberal's butt. I guarantee they all disappear and leave SS Lamont floating around in the sea of CT Politics.
