An Opening

Calling all Conservatives

Are you a Republican and/or a conservative? Do you have lots of opinions, good writing skills, time to burn and no interest in getting paid?

If so, you may be perfect for the CTLP team. Since Quinn has gone and vanished into the ether, we've been down a conservative. If you feel like helping us restore balance to the blog, send me an email (click on "about" at the top for my address) with your name, location and why you want to blog for us. I'll accept applications through Friday.

Check the end of this thread. Fusco hasn't been a client of hers for a decade.

Why are Republicans necessary here? The Democrats seem to be doing an excellent job of debating each other and bickering amongst themselves, so the Republicans ought just step back and watch.

Lamont-Lieberman, JDS-DM; let the fun continue! I don't know if it can get any better. "Fake" endorsements, claims by Lieberman that Lamont is a closet Republican; claims by Lieberman that Lamont is getting his support from only leftists; Lamont claims Lieberman is too close to Bush; not to mention the claims and counterclaims against other bloggers here. Oh, and then there was Coulter's endorsement.

I wonder if Ann Coulter sort of feels a little like Israel did during the Iran-Iraq war. She doesn't want either side to win, just to keep attacking each other. During the Iran-Iraq war, when one side was getting ahead, an Israeli agent would call the other side's embassy in London and give them key intelligence so they could gain an upper hand for a while. Ann Coulter gives a sort-of endorsement to Lieberman, which just riles up the Lamont supporters. Ann has to know that her endorsement would be seen as a negative by Democrat primary voters (you know, the godless, granola-eating socialist wannabees or whatever she says about them in her books), so either she wants the fighting to continue or thinks that Lamont winning the primary would be a good thing.

disgruntled_republican flatters me.

However I don't write that well; and would be concerned over time commitments.

Ann Coulter's going to hell.

Whadda, work for Jodi do ya?

I've fought for two years to bring her in instead of neighboring GOP Govs for the Bush Dinner.

Coulter causes a lot of buzz, a lot of controversy. Too much controversy for my own party it seems.

That stuff sells tickets.

Anyone that can get the Left foaming at the mouth as fast as she does has box office appeal.

Besides that, she's funny.

Good point!

Besides that, at least in my case there's a question as to whether or not I'm balanced or not anyway.

Just ask my wife, she'll tell ya!

May I introduce to you to Senator Alan Schlesinger?

other conservatives who may have the time would be Gio..litchfieldAngelina"

Angelina seems to know what she's talking about, no question about it.

Besides then I wouldn't need to as I always agree with her anyway. I wonder how much time she has?

It would be perfect for me, like Nancy Johnson is in congress - no need for me to pay attention as save for a few oddball issues Nancy actually represents me.

Likewise, from what postings I've seen of hers with Angelina.

Thank you for your kind suggestion Bruce, I appreciate it. I just don't think I'd have the time to give the honor of blogging here the respect it would deserve.
