The site was down for the entire morning, but hopefully we're back now.

Did we miss anything?

Wow, didn't know you were down also. My site Hat City Blog was down also while ConnecticutBLOG was uneffected.

One word..WordPress. I've had enough of Blogger. Too limited and as you know, it just plain sucks. Making the switch before the end of the year...I'm at the redesgining stage which always takes forever.

Someone over at the LamontBlog put up a picture of Senator Lieberman's car parked in a handicap spot. This was taken at an event at Fairfield University. Anyway, what the asshole photographer failed to point out was that there were something half a dozen empty handicap spots. That's right. Half a dozen.

So what if our Senator is running late and parks close to save time? Don't tell me Senator Lamont wouldn't do the same thing.

anonymous 3:01 PM, puhleeze...

First, the number of open handicapped spaces matters absolutely not at all; you either have the handicapped tag or you don't. Otherwise it is illegal parking, and you are subject to getting towed.

Since apparently the Senator has a driver, if he is running late all he has to do is get dropped off.

OK, I'll tell you that I find it highly unlikely that Senator Lamont would do the same thing [though of course you would have to ask him directly to be certain].

This is a terrific microcosm of the Senator's attitude; it all is about him, regardless of the consequences to the little people. Nuff said.

No, A.3:01, Ned Lamont would NEVER do something like this. You have some nerve to suggest otherwise!

He would buy his own parking lot!

Okay, so Senator Lieberman has the #2 license plate. Who is #1?

Didn't Rowland used to have the #1 license plate? (Did Rell retire it when John went to jail?)

Also, does anybody know what # plate Dodd has? And does he also have a full-time driver?

Finally, who pays for Joe's driver. If it's us, I'm upset. Why should taxpayers be paying for Joe to be chauffered around while he's campaigning.

Trivial, I'm sure. But I remain dreadfully curious.

It's a CT "US SENATE" plate; as Jr. Senator Joe get's 2; Dodd has #1

Gov gets CT #1

DMV commissioner gets 1-1, etc.

Lieberman had a passanger today who was handicapped... s student from Georgetown who was shadowing him.

His driver parked there after Joe was dropped off at curbside, btw. You knuckleheads.

I was driving on the Silas Deane Highway in Rocky Hill the other day, and there was a man standing at the entrance to I-91 dressed up as Osama Bin Laden. He was holding a sign that said something like "People like me love Ned Lamont" - apparently referring to terrorists. Wish I had a camera. Anyone else see this?

If that's true whoever posted that picture on the Lamont site should take it down ASAP

Since when does "true" matter to that campaign?

ACR @10:27 AM, TRUE is EXACTLY what the Lamont campaign is about. 100%.
