Lieberman will win as an independent, I hate to say, by winning more Republican support than Schlesinger. Independents will probably go 50-35-15 for Lieberman-Lamont-Schlesinger. I'm leaving out Mertens and Ferrucci, of course, but I don't think they'll have a consequential effect. If anything, Mertens steals a point or two from Joe and Ferrucci takes maybe 1 from Lamont.

I do think Lieberman's indy run will wipe out most of his Democratic support. With Courtney, Murphy, Farrell, and Malloy backing him, Lamont should take about 70% of Dems. This won't stop Lieberman from being reelected, though, and we'll be better off for the next 6 years.Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11923992479192751622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10214263.post-1152500184955664782006-07-09T22:56:00.000-04:002006-07-09T22:56:00.000-04:00Jim,Whats Joe going to deliver,Iran? There is nothi...Jim,

Whats Joe going to deliver,Iran?

There is nothing more fringe than believing in Preemptive war like Lieberman does and nothing that will help Lieberman when his own words on Privitizing Social Security come to the Surface of this fight.

Lieberman will come in a distant 3rd with under 10% if he stays in as an indy and will have no effect on the election.Watch and learn.ctkeithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10225806283179995491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10214263.post-1152497031930766262006-07-09T22:03:00.000-04:002006-07-09T22:03:00.000-04:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Authentic Connecticut Republicanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04867654898369536598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10214263.post-1152494018213326082006-07-09T21:13:00.000-04:002006-07-09T21:13:00.000-04:00I agree with GC on the statement that this primary...I agree with GC on the statement that this primary is about who best represents Connecticut Democrats. But the November election will be about who best represents all of Connecticut, and who can produce for Connecticut.

That's why Joe Lieberman will be re-elected.

That hardly sounds like I'm bringing anything to the table, but it's the truth, and completely justifies Lieberman's choice to petition. Ned Lamont might speak for the small percentage who will give him the nomination, which they will, but he is on the fringe of all voters.Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11923992479192751622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10214263.post-1152489997141054122006-07-09T20:06:00.000-04:002006-07-09T20:06:00.000-04:00Chait is worse than a Republican. He,just like Lieb...Chait is worse than a Republican.

He,just like Lieberman, is a Republican Apologist and A Bush Apologist.

Anyone know when We attack Saudi Arabia?Don't Chait and Lieberman Believe They Deserve Democracy,Freedom and Liberty Too?ctkeithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10225806283179995491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10214263.post-1152485701473670072006-07-09T18:55:00.000-04:002006-07-09T18:55:00.000-04:00Chait a Republican???...Bruce, switch off the Kool...Chait a Republican???...Bruce, switch off the Kool Aid.

Since all the people the press meet are rich liberal trendy suburban intellectuals backing Lamont, why is there surprise about their stereotypes...praise Gaia those sterotypes scream off this blog.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10214263.post-1152485402680530242006-07-09T18:50:00.000-04:002006-07-09T18:50:00.000-04:00I don't say this often but THANK YOU GC,This was s...I don't say this often but

THANK YOU GC,

This was started as a litle accountability project right here in CT and will end when we nutmeggers decide who will represent us in the Senate from 2007-2013.

For the first time in at least 12 yrs Joe Lieberman has had to come to CT. and try and Earn That Right.

No matter the outcome,DUMPJOE and all those involved in it has been a complete success.ctkeithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10225806283179995491noreply@blogger.com
