Actually, Genghis, my post above was wrong. Keith was here well before me. The comment I cited above was posted on a 2/01/05 diary, but wasn't put there until 11/28/05! (I guess I was learning how to embed a link, and so I went back to an archived diary to practice.) --------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyway, CTKeith's first post: 2/22/2005 12:24:04 AM Thats a very flattering peice. To bad Shonu Gahndi does't deserve it.I've met her on numerous occasions and she's a typical Yalie and doesn't play well outside of that crowd. She was placed inside the Dean camp during the 04 primary season and proved quite useless at the grass roots level.
My take right now has Suzie at about 2 to 1 over John for the nomination. No mayor of a city in CT has ever become Gov. and so far Jonny Ds chances of breaking that streak don't look too good.If he had the Balls to take on Lieberman he would be the Jr Senator(SR if Dodd wants to be CT. Gov.)in 06.Oh well. --------------------------------------------------------------------

However, I feel Blumenthal would make a great Senator. There is only one real question for everyone concerned about taking back Congressional seats, and the Governor's mansion. Who would be better at the top of the ticket? Traitor Joe, or the man with real integrity?!!

Again, thanks for the forum GC! It's been a lot of fun....
I became aware of CTLP sometime in the middle of 2005, but it was election night that got me hooked. Genghis had better election results than any other local media that night.

Shadow v Phantom debate about running as an independent after losing primary was one of the best threads.
Oruchelli (sp?) guy. Hands down...
I'd forgotten about Oruchelli guy!
I sort of loved the whole FBI debacle, though I know it gave Genghis a headache.
GC,
Did I really call you an idiot in my first post? LOL.
Anonymous. Hands down.
I'll miss ya big guy...!!
The whole FBI thing made me laugh. And the Orchuli guy was one of the funniest things ever.
Anonymous will live on over at the new CTLP. Someone already registered the name!
I'm pleased that nearly 40 of you have registered for the new site, and over 30 for the forum.
Just did some research. I was here before CTKeith!

I'll see you on the other side of the internet... :)
TrueBlue,
You guys were both around in at least March of 2005--the original regulars.
That was back when there was very little else to speak of in Connecticut's blogosphere. How things have changed in two short years!

For some reason, the recipe link goes back to this comment page... I'm dying in the suspense, who posted the first recipe?
I went over to the other site and registered... But I am still waiting for my password in the Email.
Gaber--
It was none other than our fearless leader. (who I first met at Kos.)
I hope this link will work:
