Lieberman Supporter has "no affiliation" with Campaign.

A few days ago, slightly incensed after seeing this on the side of the road, I shot off a quick letter to the Lieberman Campaign:

I would like to know whether you condone or condemn the tactic of the man in this photograph?
The Lieberman campaign's response:
Sir,

The Friends of Joe Lieberman campaign in no way supports this individual and his actions. This individual is acting under his own accord and has no affiliation with the Friends of Joe Lieberman, or Senator Lieberman in general.

Friends of Joe Lieberman
I'll let you take what you want from their response, but I don't think they answered the question.

He looks like CtBob on a bad hair day.

Bob looks a lot better than that guy.

So far, I've heard reports of him in West Hartford and Rocky Hill (also the location of Lieberman HQ). All the same guy, I figure. Hate to think there's more than one idiot doing this out there.

That's freaking hilarious!! LOL!!

And why bluecoat? To satisfy you and Bobby McGee? Seriously, he denounced it, isn't that enough? Ned never denounced that ridiculous kiss float. DR is right on this one.

When was the last time Joe Lieberman took the high road on anything?

Just ask Mel Semple. Lieberman is not a man of integrity. He's a typical DC politician who will say or do anything to retain the power and privilege of his office.

I'll be the first to admit my letter was pretty nasty and hastily written. It would have been nice for a more forceful condemnation, but I can hardly fault them for "in no way supports this individual and his actions".

Anybody seen Richard Goodstein lately?

McGee, you didn't get the nasty response you hoped for. Your "scoop" was ruined.

So you post sour grapes with "they didn't asnwer me."

Perhaps if you took the partisan blinders off, you'd see they did clearly answer you.

The more this guy is running around, the more it helps Lamont.

I was hoping they'd specifically address the issue, people comparing Lamont to a terrorist, but, they didn't. No big deal.

Just because Lieberman Hq says this man is on his own I don't buy it for a minute Lieberman will do anything as he did before the Primary to disrupt the Lamont campaign and I bet the Bush Republicans are in on this aswell.

If you buy the story that this guy just decided to do this on his own I will sell you the Brooklyn Bridge for for a 1 dollar.

This has The Lamont Campaign written all over it and I could see them doing this to sabotage Lieberman.

I can see those Liberals and Lamont Campaign doing this to make themselves look like a victim.

I can think of a front page poster here who might stoop to this level...so why is it so unbeleiveable this guy wouldn't do this on his own justavoter :-P

This man is using satire to make a very powerful statement. Everyone is debating the man and not the underlying message. There is nothing false about it. Bin Laden and his terrorist buddies would love nothing more than to have a weak in the knees, cut and run liberal like Lamont get elected. I bet they can't wait to get their terrorist training camps back up and running. By bailing and setting a targeted deadline, Lamont will aide their efforts. Lamont and the rest of the far left libs who now control the party will never refuse to back down from a fight. I hope this satirical Bin Laden guy keeps doing what he's doing.

I had a discussion with a friend of mine about this picture and we agreed that the person in question looks like a Shepard. Why would shepards have any bearing on the race for US Senate?
