Chris you can't be serious. Billy Ciotto lost a lot of friends and credibility when he supported the Anti-Union Doyle in the primary who is about to get creamed by soon to be Senator Ralph Capenera. Labor has no interest in Doyle and that is the final nail in his coffin. Frankly he would a tough time even with their support because he is from the smallest part of the district and has been a do nothing Rep for 12 years. As for Shirley she has been on the job way too long and should leave before they kick her out.

Jesse Jackon and Al Sharpton are coming to campaign for John DeStefano in the next few days. I guess they for one realize who the real democrat is. This should help DeStefano's campaign's keep up their momentum going into primary day. Malloy's campaign is starting to run out of energy, run out of ploys. I think whatever we see in the Q poll in the next day or two, expect DeStefano's numbers to be higher come election day.

Destefano's Campaign is sinking faster than the Titanic did.All you DeStefano's supporters better get off jump in the lifeboats and come over to The Malloy Campaign.

I'll start this with the more impressive irony: Sharpton is one of the Democrats that has been making the most sense lately - he speaks his mind and isn't afraid of a fight. That said, however, I may or we may think that as Democrats. The problem of course is that the average Connecticut voter probably does not think that. Thereby making it a ready made Jodi commercial later on.

Jackson on the other hand brings enourmous credibility with him and likely confers it upon the candidate he campaigns with. That said, it is a wonder why JDS can't pull the support of Bill Dyson the most significant African American legislator in his own city?

Al Sharpton is just here for publicity it seems to be all that Left Said Ned Lamont's Camp can do.

But what more do you expect from the Man who will not release all his income tax information for the last 5 years. Lieberman released his info. I call on Lamont to stop hiding behind the wife's business partners confidentiality excuse and release the returns.

Major Power Strains in Stamford.

DeStefano recieved the police union's endorsement, their first endorsement ever in the primary. I guess they realize that DeStefano is the one who really fights for the working man. The endorsements are piling in for DeStefano while Malloy's campaign desperately tries to hold on, trying to get a debate, because they've spent all their money on negative attack mailings that don't work. At this point, it's ChrisMC vs. 100,000's of labor in terms of organizing. I hope Chris is up to the challenge. See you August 8th.

I heard on the radio that six large buildings took themselves off of the Power Grid this afternoon, after two feeder cables were damaged.

UBS was one building: it apparently has a generator that can handle the entire load for that building. UConn Stamford shut its doors at 2 pm.

Not sure what the other four buildings were, but I doubt they were residential buildings.
