New London Day: Lamont by 10

This in from Political Wire:
A new poll commissioned by the New London Day gives Ned Lamont (D) a 10-point lead over Sen. Joe Lieberman (D-CT) in next week’s Democratic U.S. Senate primary. Lamont currently receives the support of 53% of voters, compared to 43% for Lieberman.

No surprise there.

at this point single digits will look like a moral victory for Lieberman ....remember the "comeback kid" in 1992 NH finished second

and who can forget the fool who came in 5th in NH and called it a 3 way tie for 3rd. Tues can't come quick enough.

I do find it ironic Frank Lautenburg is concerned about the CT nominating proces, considering the only reasons he's even in the senate is Jim McGreevey strong armed the incumbent Torricelli to quit after the primary when he was sure to lose and found a friendly judge to let them subsitute Lautenburg a few weeks before the November election.

Well, you can be sure that Joe will do better than a "three way tie for third place" this time around.

Someone please tell me what has Ned Lamont ever done/accomplished in life to make him qualified to be a US Senator? Aside from being born with that silver spoon in his mouth that is?
